TiE50 is TiE Silicon Valley’s premier annual awards program keenly contested by thousands of early to mid-stage startups worldwide. Participating technology startups benefit from significant exposure to venture capitalists, angels, corporate executives; and technology and business partnering/networking.
TiE50 awards recognize the top technology and technology-enabled startups and the program is not restricted to any specific technology segment. The winners will be announced at TiEcon 2020, on September 2 & 3.
Since the inception of the TiE50 program, 84% of the winners and top startups have been funded with over a billion $. Many of these companies went on to get acquired or had an IPO. At least 29 of the exits were over $100 Million, e.g., FireEye (IPO), Mulesoft (IPO), Pearl Therapeutics (acquired by Astra Zeneca) and Velocloud (acquired by VMware)
We invite all startups worldwide, particularly early-stage companies to participate.
The Application Process will close on August 25th at midnight PST
The application is rigorously reviewed by a panel of judges including venture capitalists, angels, successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives.
The Awards Ceremony will be held virtually this year in September. This year all TiE50 winners will be present to a live audience including angels, TiE Charter Members, corporate executives and conference attendees to get feedback and exposure during the TiE50 Showcase Track on Thursday, September 3rd afternoon at TiEcon 2020.
Application Fee: $550
The nominal application fee provides many benefits besides the award and recognition: 2 free passes to the TiEcon conference (https://www.tiecon.org/) and Road2TieCon, highly discounted booth (at $150) in the virtual TiECon Expo, and other credits to services relevant to startups. The TiE50 winners will also get 1 hour of 1-1 mentorship with an investor or successful entrepreneur or executive.
